Whalers Cabin and Whalers State Museum
The Whalers Cabin Museum and Whalers Station Museum are located within Point Lobos State Reserve on Highway 1 near Carmel. Built as a fishing cabin, it's unclear whether Portuguese whalers ever lived in the structure, but the name has stuck, and it's now a maritime museum.
