
East Point Lighthouse
Established and built in 1849, the East Point Lighthouse was first called the Maurice River Lighthouse for the river mouth it marks. It operated until 1941, when the US Coast Guard discontinued it. It is now undergoing restoration by the Maurice River Historical Society.
