The Commencement Bay Maritime Fest celebrates the working waterfront of Tacoma, Wash. 150 years ago, commercial tall ships came to Tacoma to load logs and lumber needed to build cities up and down America's west coast. People have lived on these shores for generations, or they have come recently from lands around the world. Tacoma also connects with nations around the world through eleven cities in the Sister City program. Innovations, customer service, ingenuity and creativity have built Tacoma's reputation as a great maritime city. Price: FREE
